A Prayer for When I'm Waiting on God
Waiting is hard. This prayer will help you trust God's timing, rest in His presence, and find peace while you wait for what He is doing.
Lord,
Waiting is hard.
Sometimes it feels like nothing is changing, and I wonder if You still see me.
I grow tired of hoping.
I grow impatient with the silence.
But today, I choose to believe that Your silence is not Your absence.
I place this waiting into Your hands.
• The answers I haven't received.
• The doors that haven't opened.
• The dreams that seem delayed.
I release them all to You.
Teach me to wait with hope.
• Help me trust that You are working even when I cannot see it.
• Help me remember that Your timing is always good.
• Help me grow closer to You instead of becoming discouraged.
Thank You that Your plans are good.
You have never been late.
You have never forgotten me.
You are preparing me for what lies ahead.
So here I am, Lord.
I will wait.
I will trust.
I will rest in You.
